Project description:

The project aims to empower men to take greater responsibility for their health and well-being by enhancing their knowledge, skills, and motivation to lead healthier, more balanced lives. It addresses the inequalities in men’s physical and mental health, particularly among those with fewer opportunities, and encourages positive behavioural change through education, awareness, and digital learning tools. By integrating innovative, digitally reinforced learning pathways, the project promotes preventive care, emotional well-being, and a healthy lifestyle, while also challenging harmful gender stereotypes that negatively affect men’s health and social participation.

The project objectives are:

  • to motivate men for greater understanding and responsiveness to their health and well- being
  • to deepen men’s knowledge and skills on physical, mental, and social health
  • to develop an e-learning platform with interactive resources and training modules on five key health-related topics
  • to strengthen the competences of adult educators to effectively train and support men- learners using digital and andragogical tools
  • to share and promote the project’s results widely to increase awareness and impact in the field of adult education and men’s health.
